Overall Quality

Affordable lightweight with small problems

Review by Shark
Overall Quality

I've had the bike now for 6 months. Taken on trails, street, and some light jumps. I ride about 10-12 miles a day. Good ride, smooth gear switching and easy braking. The only issue I've had is the chain falls off after gliding and restarting to pedal every so often and that's been on the street use only:(

Smooth, lightweight, strong & affordable

Review by Rod

I bought two DB ST (navy exchange & costco) because it was lightweight & affordable & felt solid. Been riding it 3-4 times a week 14-16 miles/day on trails & asphalt since Feb 2017 with no issues. I've jumped it off curbs & tame trail jumps & taken it thru some rough/rocky terrain (inflating/deflating tires often) & so far it's still in pretty damn good shape (very very slight wheel wobble). Gear changing is still quiet/smooth. Braking is still precise. Handling is comfortable. Seat post lowering/raising is quick&easy. I did upgrade the peddles to aluminum with teeth ($10) & a DB "sport" seat w/some cushion ($15) but not a single component on this bike feels flimsy. Overall it's been a great purchase. So i bought two!

Good not great

Review by Erik

Took the bike out 3 times so far, first two times went great. They weren't long or hard rides, just cruising a bike path. The third time i took the bike out, the chain snapped and i had to walk it home.
