Carbon Overdrives are back! A classic hardtail in the tradition of cross-country trail bikes, the Overdrive Carbon Comp is made for riders who relish all-around speed. The 29er frame is full monocoque construction, light and lightning quick, perfect for XC racing, training, and just plain going fast. Among the quickest mountain bikes we sell, this bike absolutely rockets through rolling terrain and flies up climbs. With Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (180/160mm rotors), a 1×11 drivetrain, and a smooth Rockshox fork, the Overdrive Carbon Comp has a component group that matches its performance. Knock some time off your personal bests with this fast hardtail.

Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.

Very Good Bike

Review by Camsterdam
Overall Quality

I've owned SEVERAL top-end mountain bikes. I've been riding mountain bikes my whole life (which is longer than I'd like to admit) in the tough/high mountains of Utah. This is BY FAR, the best mountain bike I've ever owned. I just switched to the OD Carbon Comp 29er - from a Cannondale FS (which I loved). My notes: feels far lighter. Far more efficient on climbs than any other bike I've ridden. At times, it almost feels as if it's driving itself up climbs. I like going downhill some, but I enjoy XC type rides with hardcore climbs in mountains. It doesn't descend like a high-end FS, but the climbing this bike is capable eclipses any shortcomings from descending (make no mistake, as a 29er, it descends better than most 26 FS bikes). Weight is a non-issue with the carbon frame. Very stiff pedal-stroking which translates to more power where the rubber meets the dirt. The front shock isn't clunky; it's very smooth when setup properly. Shifting is very smooth. It's a perfect bike for all levels of cyclists. If you want a downhill machine, don't buy this bike. Most riders I know though who claim to be downhill bikers, really aren't. This is a race-worthy machine that can be used by someone racing, or the weekend warrior. All of my Strava times have improved with this bike. I would highly recommend this bike for anyone wanting a serious review for the bike. My brother loved his so much, we have 4 in the family now. DB had NOTHING to do with this review other than designing an awesome bike, that I don't plan to replace any-time soon. I wrote it of my own volition (which I rarely do) because I was so impressed. Hope this helps.

Fast fast fast bike, handles great, so far has held up to a beating (I'm 6'2" 300 lbs). I'll keep this bike as long as I can.

Climbs hills like nothing, fast in corners, very agile for a 29er. Sram parts around and a very responsive front shock. Great bike overall!!
