Mason Trail

We’ve expanded our popular Mason line to bring the fun and capabilities of Plus-tires and hardtails to any rider. The beefy aluminum Mason Trail shares the geometry, ride feel, and versatility of all the Masons, delivering the same adventurous vibe for much less. With 27.5 × 2.8” tires mounted on our wide Blanchard rims, this bike is so adept at devouring choppy and loose trails that you may wonder why anyone needs rear suspension at all! A wide-range 1×10 drivetrain make short work of technical climbs, and the unbelievable traction breathes new life into trails you thought you’d mastered. One ride on the Mason Trail and you’ll be hooked. Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.

Like riding a mountain goat made of pillows.

This bike is amazing! I caught this bike on sale for less than $1k and no where else will you find a deal better than that. A boosted hardtail plus bike for less than $1k, deal! This bike could easily go for $1300+ and you would still be getting a decent deal. The components on this bike are more than adequate for most riders (and can be found on bike costing a lot more). So far I haven’t upgraded anything nor do I immediately feel the need to...but the bike has a very upgradable platform if I ever decide to. The bike is like a monster truck that happens to also be quite nimble. Sooo much grip! If you are budget minded, look no further...this is the poor man’s full sus. :-)

Stop Looking and Buy This Bike

I've owned this bike for about 2 months now and have taken it on (basically) every single track Kansas has to offer. While we are not Colorado, there are more than enough rocky sections and sharp climbs to go around. I transitioned from a full suspension Diamondback Recoil Comp and do not find myself missing the rear shock as these plus size tires prefer rough ground. The only upgrade I've done to this bike is add a Highline Dropper Post from Crank Brothers. This bike is not only great for the trails, but adventure biking as well. Kansas is known for our expansive gravel roads and bike packing. Although not as efficient as my gravel bike, I prefer the comfort and all out fun this bike has to offer. It's the most solid feeling bike in my arsenal and has replaced my other hardtail that is non plus size. The only downside to this bike is the frame geometry doesn't allow for a decent sized frame bag, but I'm just being picky at that point!

I have used this bike for a couple weeks and I love it! it is good for everything, I am able to do uphill lines I've never done al while beating my times and learning new downhill lines. This bike has given me the confidence to try the bigger jumps and drops at my local trail. It is all around a good bike for people looking to get better at mountain biking.

Best bang for your buck

I just received my Mason and test rode last night. So far seems to be a great bike and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

After a month of researching bikes and figuring out what I wanted, the Mason was the best overall plus bike I could find. I'm sure I'll add some upgrades here and there in the future but for now this bike is perfect and a ton of fun.

Fantastic Value for Money

First off, I wanted to buy a higher level of the Mason, but as all were sold out until the end of July in my size, I ended up going with the trail - and it's everything I needed.

I upgraded from a 26" skinny, where I was forever terrified of rocks/sand/etc. Now, I feel so comfortable on almost anything. The components aren't anything crazy nice to write home about, but they do the job - hydraulic discs and an air fork are a must. Grip is insane, after demoing a plus bike I knew I had to buy it. This is a fantastic deal for the price, especially with the corporate discount. I will probably upgrade to a dropper eventually, but as for know I absolutely love riding this thing down some singletrack.
