Haanjo Comp Carbon

To keep riding, on any road. That’s the goal. The Haanjo Comp Carbon combines the durability of a cross bike with the stability of a touring bike or commuter, making it the choice for riders who don’t want their routes dictated by conditions. A completely new, hand built carbon fiber frame and fork excel within the slightly relaxed geometry, smoothing out the jarring bumps of a long day in the saddle.

Like every Haanjo, the Comp Carbon stays predictable on variable surfaces: 38c tires, thru-axles, disc brakes, and solid componentry make sure you’re never outgunned. Its 2×11 speed drivetrain has a gear for every gravel grind and headwind, keeping your cranks spinning when the going gets rough. Whether it’s a grand fondo, a beer run, or daily commuting, the Haanjo Comp Carbon is one bike that really can do it all. We’re not saying it’ll turn every gravel road or potholed street into freshly laid asphalt, but it’s close!

Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.

I love this bike

Review by LOVE
Overall Quality

I have several bikes. I live in the mountains of Utah. This bike is VERY comfortable to ride. I've had it on the gravel in the pacific NW, and on some gnarly single-track here in Utah. It's a terrific bike - and my go-to-travel bike. Love the tires. Love the 105 (I generally ride Durance and Ultegra); the 105 groupset is very robust, and just as efficient. Tires are excellent. Read that other users commented on toe-rub. Not an issue. I wear size 11, and on the trails I didn't ever find it an issue. Sure, if I really try I can get my toe to touch the front tire at just the right angle, but have NOT experienced it on any single-track with switch-backs. In fact, I don't even think about it. Frame feels tall (because it is). Make sure you follow the sizing chart. It's VERY light and stiff. Mechi disks are more than sufficient for everything I've thrown at it; in fact I would say that I prefer this combo for this purpose-type bike. Anyway; hope this helps others. LOVE the bike, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I've only had the bike a couple of months and I've already put over 1K miles on it (in the dead of Winter - in Utah). It's tough, fun, and very fast in the gravel. Well done.

The best price/performance do-it-all carbon bike!

Just got it setup and been out for 4 long rides over the week.
This 20lbs bike is a joy to ride. Fast (enough) on the road and blast through fire road.
Haven't tried single track yet but probably I'm not good enough to do that with a rigid bike, but everything else you can throw at it and it handles it like a champ.

The only complaint I have is the high standover of diamondback's bike.

But I'll still give this bike 5 stars it's so much fun.

One week in loving the bike for commutes and sub-century weekend rides

Was just shipped the Haanjo Comp carbon a week ago. Super easy to put together, although I did take it to REI to have them go over it and tweak the brakes and shifters. Worth the $60. Commuted 15 miles every day through downtown Seattle and also completed a 40 mile weekend ride. Loving the bike as it is a huge improvement on my mountain bike. Good value, good quality and great fun to ride! All ready been approached by a couple of gear heads asking what model it is.
