For women looking to explore quiet backroads and routes less traveled, The Haanjenn Tero is the easiest way to start. We used our Endurance Geometry for the lightweight aluminum frame, increasing stability and riding comfort over what you’d find on a traditional road bike. Combined with its component build, the Haanjenn Tero tracks and turns well on all surfaces, from smooth pavement to loose gravel. A 2×8 speed Shimano drivetrain always has a gear, whether it’s mellow pavement or a dirt road that’s tilted straight up. Big tires find grip on everything and work together with disc brakes to deliver confidence and control as you explore over the next rise in the road. Designed to handle the roughest of road surfaces, the Haanjenn Tero also makes for an excellent commuter. Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.

First NEW Road Bike

Review by LisaG5
Overall Quality

As most of us growing up in the 50's or 60's or maybe even 70's and 80's, I rode my bike in my spare time which was a lot and I loved riding fast! About 25 years ago, my mother let me pick out a bike for my 28th birthday and it was "last year's" model (Specialized) mountain bike. That was the bike to get back then! I STILL have it. Fast forward, 4 years later, I was house-sitting for a friend who paid me with her used 1988 Peugeot road bike which I have been riding ever since (yes, it has "suicide levers"). Anyone in the market for a woman's 1988 Peugeot road bike? ;-) I've had it tuned and had new Shimano shifters added and it has taken me many miles. I was ready for something new but couldn't afford the $1000 road bikes and couldn't find a used bike in my size that fit the bill. SO, here I was scouring the internet and talking to my brother, a distance rider and he recommended Diamondback. "You don't want to get a bike at a department store. They just won't last and they aren't worth putting money into for upgrades. Well, it has been a month of riding this bike, well over 100 miles and just 33 miles alone yesterday. I have some adjustments to continue making to make it more comfortable. I've already added good quality, 28mm slicks that have made my riding smoother and faster. I wanted the gravel bike because it gave me more flexibility to change the tires to slicks for more road riding. The road bike I looked at wasn't going to be able to fit the wider tires. So, I have a road/gravel bike that is fairly light, comfortable and versatile! This bike is comfortable, fits well and now I'm looking at clipless pedals to make my rides even more efficient. The only thing I might change is the weight of the bike but it was a trade-off. It's not really heavy but it's not as light as I've seen. The color and styling is really cool! I'm not a bike techy YET, so my description may not be up to par with the "bike snobs" out there but I can tell you, that for me, this was a tremendous upgrade and I love it! It was easy to put together and packaged well!
