Haanjo Tero

As more people take to exploring forgotten routes, we’ve kept pace with a diverse line of alternative road bikes. The Haanjo Tero is the easiest way to expand your riding horizons and break out of the ordinary. We used our Endurance Geometry for the lightweight aluminum frame, increasing stability and riding comfort over what you’d find on a traditional road bike.

Because of this the Haanjo Tero tracks and turns well on all surfaces, from smooth pavement to loose gravel. A 2×8 speed Shimano drivetrain always has a gear for the terrain, whether it’s mellow or tilted straight up. All-purpose wide tires find grip on everything and work together with disc brakes for extra confidence and control as you explore over the next rise in the road. And even though it’s a gravel grinder at heart, the Haanjo Tero also makes for an excellent commuter.

Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.

Great all around bike

Review by Dan
Overall Quality

I've had the bike for 6 months now, and It's held up against just about everything I've thrown at it. I rode it in the Pittsburgh Dirty Dozen race, and it is a good hill climber. I had no problem making it up Canton Ave, the steepest street in the U.S. It's pretty fast on pavement and has no issues with gravel, potholes, brick roads, etc.

Excellent bike, easy assembly

Review by Jon
Overall Quality

I wanted a good all around bike for exercise around the neighborhood, riding the mountain bike trails at my state park, and hitting long rides on Saturdays with a combination of dirt roads and pavement. It is perfect for that. Everything came together very easy assembly wise. Although I didn't need the instructions as I've put together many bikes over the last 30 years, the DVD and instructions included are very detailed and everything is labeled very clearly. Shipping was very fast, too. You'll love the Haanjo Tero if you're a neighborhood rider, commuter, or occasional MTB trail rider. 100% satisfied!

Amazing bike

I sat on ordering this bike for about 3 weeks. This is my second Diamond Back bike. I keep researching and looking at other bikes. Finally, during Thanksgiving weekend, I saw the price dropped and I jump right out it and bought. The bike came within 3 days and only took about 35 minutes to put it together. The videos at the Diamond Back website were very helpful. Took it for a test ride and this bike is amazing. It rides smooth and its light (compare to my mountain bike). The shifting was smooth and the breaks works fantastic. After the ride, I did some minor adjustments to the seat , but nothing else. Amazing bike for the price.

My Haanjo Tero

Review by AK
Overall Quality

I purchased this bike a few months ago. Great bike, I really appreciate DB to put a bike out in the market for the low price, got mine for $499. I use it as a daily commuter. Also hit up trails over the weekend, this bike takes on pretty much anything. Went on a 25mi ride, it was fun on this bike. However, I had to make some adjustments due to it not configured correctly from the store I purchased it from. Front brakes kept rubbing, fixed it myself. Chain was loose, fell out a few times, all I had to do was tighten it. Seat needed adjustment. Once all this was corrected, bike rides like a champ.
