The rolling hills of wine country. Perfect weather, flawless roads, a road bike rider’s paradise. We’re not suggesting you close your eyes while riding the Century 5 Carbon, but if you were to, it wouldn’t be hard to convince yourself that you were in this dream location. Our latest Century line continues its tradition of all-day endurance bikes with a complete materials and design overhaul, improving on what were already rider favorites. Hand-built carbon frames borrow from our more aggressive road bikes, with big stiff bottom bracket and head tube areas, sculpted seat stays for compliance, and clean looks. Combined with hydraulic disc brakes and thru-axles, these changes are more than a superficial makeover, they represent a complete reimagining of a modern classic. The Century 5 Carbon is the road bike for riders who wake up early and ride all day long.
Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.

I have owned the Century 5 Carbon for about 4 months now, I am closing in on 800 miles on this bike. I live in a very mountainous area, and this bike is awesome and getting me from 5500 feet to over 9000 feet in elevation in a matter of 20 miles. The disc brakes are a MUST when coming off the mountain, I always feel very secure, I prefer the disc brakes over the pad brakes when coming down steep mountain roads. I use my Century mostly for commuting to and from work, and nothing better than a great ride before and after work. I also have a Diamond Back Recoil mountain bike that I ride with the NICA High School Mtn. Bike team, volunteer coach. Diamondback keep up the Great Work !! And keep pedaling!

Best Bike I Ever Owned
Review by drdropkin
I am loving this Century 5 Diamondback bicycle. My family has been urging me to upgrade from my used Specialized Sirrus Aluminum bike that I have been riding for the past 7 years and was too big for my body anyway. When the maintenance became a frequency problem I relented.
This bike rides smooth and because it must weigh about 10 pounds less than the Specialized, it is fast. I am able to accelerate, brake and steer with ease. I can pedal up the inclines without wearing myself out and straggling the group even though I am adjusting to a new posture with no difficulty since the Specialized was a straight bar hybrid. My buds have oohhed and aahhed over the craftsmanship of this bike.
I am a lucky man and thank my daughter, Monica, for assisting me in the procurement of this bike.
