At the heart of each Lux is our rugged Diamondback Lux Women’s Specific Butted 6061-T6 aluminum frame with formed top and down tubes providing strength and style with clean lines. The DB Snake stays add strength and style while a replaceable hanger adds the finer touches. The components provide more proof of our commitment to providing you with the most appropriate package and value for your money.
An XCT 80mm travel fork with 28.6mm stanchions takes the sting out of long, bumpy rides, without all of the extra costly bells and whistles. But don’t worry—this bike’s still capable of climbing or descending your favorite trail with ease. Softer springs make this a more friendly and forgiving fork for the female rider.
The brake levers are adjustable, so the stopping power of the linear pull brakes are always in reach, making it easy to maintain control and stay safe.
The durable alloy crankset (22/32/42t) is a good match for the Shimano TX50 front derailleur, the Shimano Altus 7spd rear derailleur and Shimano HG20 7spd Cassette (12-28t). This combo provides more than enough gearing options to get you where you want to go.
