The Insight series fits into the Performance Hybrid category. Taking the best from both the mountain and road worlds, the Performance Hybrid combines their elements to create the ultimate machine. In this case, we aimed to take a bike that’s been hugely successful in the adult category and offer it to today’s youth who are often accompanying their parents to various cause and event rides.
Smaller-diameter 24” wheels offer an efficient platform and lower standover clearance for this nimble, lightweight bike that’s suitable for commuting, training or simply a weekend ride. The jewel of the bike is the Light alloy frame w/ replaceable hanger and an Insight Jr. Aero Alloy straight blade fork.
Shimano provides a blend of quality components including 165mm cranks, 7spd twist shifters, cassette and derailleurs. 32 hole alloy hubs and rims provide a solid structured wheel capable of all day rides.
Alloy linear pull brakes with reach adjust afford a fair amount of stopping power sure to keep your child out of harm’s way. The rest of the cockpit features a Steel Jr Riser 23" wide x 1" rise handlebar and an alloy quill stem for maximum steering control and comfort.
A DB Jr. Padded 2 panel saddle sits atop a 27.2mm alloy micro adjust seat post offering an exceptionally comfortable ride whether that be in your next cause ride or simply around the block.
