• Assault Dirt Jump 6061-T6 Aluminum Frame w/ steel reinforced horizontal BMX dropouts
  • FOX front fork for a plush landing upon your reentry of earths gravitational pull
  • Hydraulic Disc brakes for premium stopping power

Whatchoo know ‘bout going big, boy? I can tell you what our DF5 Factory riders know and that is that there ain’t no street, park, or jump line that can throw off the 2014 Assault. Designed and refined through feedback from our riders, the Assault is a burly little low slung rig designed to trick, flip, stick and hit. Boom!

The 2014 Diamondback Assault boasts of a 6061-T6 Aluminum frame with a tapered head tube, Mission formed top tube and steel reinforced horizontal BMX dropouts, these frames are stout and fully capable of going big. And weighing in at a respectable 4.5 lbs makes this one of the lighter dirt jump frames on the market.

Rocking a single speed specific horizontal dropout keeps things clean and simple. 69° head and 72° seat angles combined with significantly compact 15.3" chain stays and a 22” sloping top tube make the Assaults easy to throw around and manual for days.

The Assault comes spec’d with a Fox 32 “831” CTD “FIT" fork. The fork has100mm of travel, a 15mm quick release thru axle and is internally adjustable to 110mm or 120mm. This keeps the front end snappy and agile. Tubular chromoly cranks provide a solid jumping platform while the 32h Alienation Skylark front and Deliquent rear rims provide a stout landing gear for re-entry. A single rear Shimano M505 hydraulic disc brake with a 6-bolt XT SM-RT76 160mm rotor provide ample stopping power. And we finish off this package with a Gravity Light stem and 800mm bars and a Diamondback signature Pivotal seat and Alienation Billy Club post.

Diamondback is a brand that built its reputation on top of the line BMX bikes. 30 years later, we’re bridging that gap from our high end BMX to our high end mountain bikes. The Assault and Assault 2 are just the rigs to do this.

The Assault is Red and comes in 1 size with a 22" top tube.
